Venezia FC have secured promotion back to Serie A, confirming their return to Italy’s top flight with one match remaining in the season, following a dramatic campaign in Serie B.
Despite being held to a 2-2 draw away at Spezia, Venezia’s result proved enough to guarantee automatic promotion, marking a swift comeback just one year after their relegation in 2025.
The final round of Serie B matches was played on Sunday afternoon, with only one game left in the season. The top two teams earn direct promotion, while a third side will be decided through the playoff system.

Frosinone Calcio currently sit second in the table after a tight battle with Monza for the second automatic promotion spot. Frosinone strengthened their position with a 1-0 away win over Juve Stabia, while Monza suffered a 3-2 defeat to Mantova.
The result leaves Frosinone needing just one point in the final round to confirm their return to Serie A.
At the bottom of the table, Reggiana have been mathematically relegated to Serie C, while Spezia and Pescara remain locked on 34 points, still fighting to avoid the drop.
