Classical music can inspire and move you, but sometimes there's a special moment or a human-interest story that turns the music into something even more profound.

In this video, Mohamed Salih, 25, plays the violin just outside a hospital room housing COVID- 19 patients in Tunisia.

Salih, a young Tunisian Doctor, playing his violin and wearing his face mask, performed inside of El-Hady Shaker hospital on Valentine's day for a coronavirus patient who has been placed on a ventilator.

The piece he chose to play was the classic ‘Taht Al-Yasmina’ written by the Tunisian renowned poet Al-Hady Al-Gwany.

According to Sky News Arabia, the concert was held just outside a hospital room occupied by several Tunisian patients.

"If my music can bring calm to any of these people and their mood, I feel as if I have added more than just my basic care as a doctor," said Salih.

“It’s just a really great way to make Valentine’s special for those old patients who are in hospital, and aren’t able to participate in regular Valentine’s Day festivities,” he added.

It's worth noting that Dr.Salih first learned how to use violin, Saxophone, piano, and viola when he was younger. Now, he finds that practicing music gives him special moments of peace and concentration that his busy life didn’t previously allow.
