From January to November 2023, Uzbekistan achieved a significant milestone in its textile industry by exporting products valued at $2.8 billion. This figure represents 12.1 percent of the nation's total export revenue during this period, as reported by the Statistics Agency.
The exported textile goods predominantly consisted of ready-made textile items, accounting for 41.3% of the exports, and cotton thread, which made up 40.7%. Over the year, Uzbekistan has successfully exported 626 different types of textile products to 63 countries worldwide, marking a substantial increase in export volume compared to the previous year, according to the agency.
