Uzbekistan Resumes Flights to Egypt

Uzbekistan officially announced on Thursday the resumption of its flights to Egypt.

Flights to Egypt will be launched from Uzbekistan’s several provinces, the Minister of Transport Ilhom Mahkamov said during his meeting with Egypt's Ambassador to Uzbekistan Amira Fahmy.

They also discussed the ways to step up cooperation between both countries in the civil aviation field.

The parties also exchanged views on the launch of regular flights from Uzbekistan to Sharm el-Sheikh, the increase in the number of Tashkent to Cairo, and Tashkent to Hurghada flights by EgyptAir, the launch of flights from Samarkand, Bukhara, and Fergana provinces to Cairo, according to the Tashkent Times.
