The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced last night the death of a U.S. service member due to injuries sustained during the initial Iranian attacks.
The soldier was wounded at an attack site targeting U.S. forces in Saudi Arabia on March 1st.
This marks the seventh service member killed in combat actions during Operation "Epic Fury," as major combat operations continue.
In accordance with standard protocol, the identity of the deceased will be withheld for 24 hours until the next of kin have been notified.
