US Vice President J.D. Vance stated that the United States is not at war with Iran as a state, but rather with its nuclear program, emphasizing that current tensions stem from the breakdown in negotiations.
In remarks reported by AlQahera News Channel, Vice President Vance said, “We are not in a state of war with Tehran, we are confronting its nuclear ambitions.”
He added that Iranian authorities had ceased to negotiate in good faith, suggesting that if talks had been productive, the situation could have taken a different course.
