The Biden administration is finalizing a $725 million military aid package for Ukraine, set to include advanced weaponry from existing US stockpiles.
The package is expected to provide anti-tank weapons, drones, Stinger missiles, land mines, and ammunition for HIMARS systems.
Additionally, it will reportedly feature cluster munitions for guided multiple launch systems, according to sources familiar with the plan.
A formal notification to Congress is anticipated soon, possibly by Monday, amid ongoing discussions of an additional $24 billion request to replenish Pentagon resources for Ukraine.
Since the onset of Russia's military operation in February 2022, Western nations have escalated their military and financial support for Ukraine.
Moscow continues to warn that such actions complicate peace efforts and deepen NATO’s involvement in the conflict.
