US Health Secretary Xavier Becerra has tested positive for COVID-19, during his visit to Berlin, spokeswoman for the Department of Health and Human Services announced.
In a statement, the spokeswoman added that Becerra ‘is experiencing mild symptoms’, noting that he is ‘fully vaccinated and boosted’
Moreover, Becerra will resume his duties in isolation in Berlin., according to the statement.
It is worth mentioning that, Becerra was in Berlin for a meeting with health ministers from the Group of Seven (G7) nations on Thursday and Friday.
On Wednesday, the White House announced that Ashley Biden, the daughter of US President Joe Biden, had contracted Coronavirus, “Covid 19,” according to CNN.
American Johns Hopkins University stated that the death toll from the Coronavirus in the United States exceeded one million.
