In a significant development, the United States has committed to providing Poland with a $2 billion loan to bolster its ongoing defense modernization efforts.
The US State Department, in a recent announcement, detailed the financial support, signifying a significant stride in international relations.
The State Department issued a press release, stating, "Today, the United States is proud to announce the signing of a milestone $2 billion Foreign Military Financing (FMF) direct loan agreement to support Poland’s defense modernization."
Under this agreement, the Biden administration is allocating up to $60 million in FMF to offset the expenses associated with the loan.
