U.S. Special Envoy for Hostage Affairs, Adam Boehler, told CNN that negotiating with people, whether good or bad, is part of his job, emphasizing that his discussions with Hamas have been highly beneficial.
He added, "It is possible that we could see something like a long-term truce, where prisoners are released, and Hamas relinquishes its weapons."
Boehler also stressed the possibility of securing the release of all hostages, not just the American ones.
