The US Embassy in Somalia warned its citizens of the possible terrorist attacks against several areas of the country, including Adam Adde International Airport in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.
The embassy said in a statement on Wednesday that it is tracking reliable information about possible imminent terrorist attacks against multiple regions in Somalia, and also called on US citizens in the country to be cautious and avoid all gatherings and demonstrations.
The US Embassy added that all movements of embassy employees have been canceled until further notice.
The statement explained that the US Embassy in Mogadishu reminds US citizens that terrorists continue to plan kidnappings, bombings, and other attacks in Somalia.
