US Embassy in Cairo published, on Friday, a new satellite image of the Niel river and Egypt's Delta to reveal the wonders of Egypt.

In this regard, the US Embassy took to its social media platforms to publish an amazing photo of the Nile River and the Delta of Egypt from Outer Space.

The Embassy wrote: "Nile River and its delta look like a brilliant, long-stemmed flower in this photo taken by an astronaut from the International Space Station."

"The Cairo metropolitan area forms a particularly bright base of the flower," the Embassy added.

The newly released satellite image of Egypt’s Nile river shows the complex pattern of city lights in the metropolitan region of Cairo.

Indeed, the massive lights in the Egyptian buildings show a distinctly yellower color, probably due to sodium-vapor streetlight lamps.

Also in this regard, the latest stunning photo shaws lights of numerous towns and countryside villages on the Nile Delta and along the narrow floodplain of the iconic river. Moreover, the Nile River can be detected in places as a yellow line wending its way through Cairo.
