US Deputy Secretary of State, Kurt Campbell, discussed with his Canadian counterpart, David Morrison, on Wednesday, ways to achieve lasting peace in the Middle East.
They also discussed the strong partnership between the United States and Canada, their permanent commitment to Ukraine’s self-defense, and resolving the ongoing crisis in Haiti - according to a statement published on US State Department website.
Campbell stressed the urgent need to reach an agreement on the modern Columbia River Treaty between the two countries.
