US Attack Leaves 8 Killed, Injured in Syrian Idlib

According to news reports, a US drone attack in Idlib resulted in the death of one person and the injury of several others.

In the attack, one citizen was murdered and seven others were injured. According to Syrian reports, a US MQ9 RAPER drone carrying three missiles struck a motorcycle on the Arihah-Al-Mastumah road in the southern Syrian province of Idlib.

The rider, who was a simple worker in the Afrin municipal council, was killed in the attack, while seven other persons were injured inside a vehicle near the motorcycle, according to Syrian reports.

Three ladies and a kid were injured, according to reports.

In recent years, the US has routinely struck Syrian civilians.

According to the Syrian Network for Human Rights, the number of civilians killed by the so-called US-led international anti-ISIS coalition in Syria has surpassed 3,000, with a third of them being children.

The Syrian government has repeatedly sent letters to the UN Secretary-General and the President of the Security Council urging them to end US-led coalition crimes in Syria.
