The US Department of Defense stated that it has approved a potential sale to the UAE, including updates to anti-radiation missile control units and related equipment, totaling around $144 million.
The primary contractor for this deal will be Raytheon Technologies Corp.
Last month, the US Department of Defense disclosed that the State Department had approved a potential deal to sell multi-function information distribution systems to Saudi Arabia at a cost of $101.1 million.
The sale aims to enhance the security of the kingdom, which the US statement referred to as a force for political stability and economic progress in the Gulf region.
