President of the University of Canada in Egypt (UofCanada) Debbie McClellan said that the study at the university follows the credit-hour system and its fees are paid by the Canadian Dollar or its equivalent by the Egyptian pound.

McClellan clarified in press statements that any major takes four years.

McClellan noted that the Faculty of Engineering and Design needs 141 credit hours for a bachelor degree for a fee of 16,000 Canadian dollar yearly, while Faculty of Science and Innovation needs 120 credit hours to obtain the bachelor degree for a fee of 13,950 Canadian dollar per year.

"Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship, whose fees is 13,950 Canadian dollar per year, also needs 120 credit hours for a bachelor," she added.

She pointed out the university offers the first education system of its kind in Egypt and provides Canadian bachelor's and graduate degrees. Leading programs are taught by Canadian professors.

It is worth mentioning that UofCanada, located in the New Administrative Capital, currently hosts the branch campus of the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI).

Each of the top-ranked programs that UPEI offers through the UofCanada branch campus in Egypt is identical to the program it offers to Canadian students in Canada.

By the end of their program, students studying at UPEI in Egypt will be granted the same degree as students studying in Canada.
