Sigrid Kaag, UN Senior Humanitarian and Reconstruction Coordinator for Gaza, recently concluded a 2-day visit to Egypt where she held meetings with Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry, Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait, and Minister of Social Solidarity Nivine El-Qabbage.
She also had a meeting with Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
During her meetings, she discussed the urgency of the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2720 for civilians in Gaza.
