Inas Hamdan, Acting Director of the Information Office at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), confirmed that the humanitarian situation in Gaza Strip is extremely difficult and tragic.
In a statementtoo "Al-Hurra" news TV today, Wednesday, Inas Hamdan said that occupation forces have destroyed 190 UNRWA facilities, ranging from partial to complete destruction, since the beginning of the war, stressing that this increases the complications concerning UNRWA's work, both in terms of facilities and humanitarian workers.
She added that over 195 employees have been killed in recent months, some of whom were killed while providing humanitarian services.
Furthermore, she noted that Israel is clearly violating humanitarian law and emphasized that shelters for displaced persons should never be targeted.
