The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) revealed that the agency has the equivalent of 6,000 truckloads of vital humanitarian supplies in Egypt and Jordan, awaiting permission to enter the Gaza Strip.
In a statement issued Wednesday, the agency noted that the aid entering the Strip represents only a drop in the bucket of urgent needs, calling for all crossings to be opened and for supplies to be allowed in without restrictions.
The agency stressed the need to lift the ban on UNRWA aid.
