United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres on Sunday strongly condemned the attack launched by Ukrainian forces on the Donetsk People's Republic, which resulted left more than 20 people dead.
"The Secretary-General strongly condemns all attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure, including today’s bombing of Donetsk,” the Office of the UN Secretary-General said in a statement.
Guterres stressed that "attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure are prohibited under international humanitarian law, such attacks are unacceptable and must stop immediately."
