The United Nations is calling for an increase in international aid for Syria on a large scale, Al Qahera News channel reported.
Geir Pedersen, the UN envoy to Syria, said on Wednesday that work must be done to reconstruct Syria.
Pedersen added, during a press conference from Damascus: “We need immediate humanitarian aid for the Syrian people,” and to launch a comprehensive process that includes all Syrians, hoping to lift the sanctions on Syria.
