The Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN) Antonio Guterres, called on Russia and Ukraine to fully comply with the grain export agreement.

A few days ago, Guterres condemned missile strikes against "Odessa" city in southern Ukraine, on the Black Sea coast.

"Yesterday, all parties made clear commitments in the international arena to ensure the safe movement of Ukrainian grain and related products to world markets," the Secretary-General's office said in a statement reported by the American network (ABC News) today, Saturday.

"There is an urgent need for these products to address the global food crisis and alleviate the suffering of millions of needy people around the world," the statement added, noting that full implementation by the Russian Federation, Ukraine, and Turkey is essential.

It is worth mentioning that, Russian missiles hit the city of "Odessa", a day after Russia and Ukraine signed an agreement - brokered by the United Nations and Turkey - to reopen the Black Sea ports and resume grain exports.
