The UN Security Council has dismissed an Algerian proposal calling for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, a decision that came after the United States exercised its veto power.

In the meantime, the occupying forces continue to launch hundreds of airstrikes and artillery bombardments across Gaza, committing severe atrocities against civilians and carrying out horrific crimes in invasion zones. This onslaught has led to the destruction of entire residential blocks in Gaza as part of a broader strategy of total devastation pursued by the occupying forces in their ongoing aggression against the territory.

The humanitarian situation in Gaza has reached catastrophic levels due to the blockade, leading to the displacement of over 90% of the population. Amidst continuous bombardment and the perilous conditions on the ground, thousands of casualties remain trapped under rubble, with restricted access to fuel and essential supplies severely hindering efforts to alleviate the dire humanitarian crisis.
