In a heartfelt and moving address at the recent Prayer Breakfast, President Volodymyr Zelensky extended his gratitude to all participants and guests, emphasizing the unity of the Ukrainian people and their shared human values.

He highlighted the diversity of attendees, acknowledging the varied paths and perspectives present, yet underscoring a common goal: to preserve the integrity and humanity of Ukraine during these challenging times of war.

President Zelensky passionately spoke about the current conflict with Russia, describing it as a clear battle between good and evil. He emphasized the global implications of Ukraine's struggle, asserting that the outcome would not only determine Ukraine's future but also set a precedent for international security and peace.

"We are defending the values that are close to every normal person – to all who respect life, who cherish the family," he declared, stressing the importance of ensuring a safe and happy future for children.

The President celebrated a significant achievement: the recent release of ninety Ukrainian warriors and ten civilians from Russian captivity, including Christian priests Bohdan Heleta and Ivan Levitsky.

These priests, who had been imprisoned since November 16, 2022, for preaching in Berdyansk, were freed thanks to the efforts of the Ukrainian team and the mediation of the Holy See. Zelensky expressed deep gratitude for their resilience and strength, and he called for a warm welcome for these heroes.

Zelensky's speech was not only a celebration of this achievement but also a rallying cry for continued efforts to bring all Ukrainians home, including children forcibly deported to Russia.

He urged unity in the fight to restore normal life and security to every Ukrainian community still suffering under Russian occupation. "We must act together to fully implement the Peace Formula and ensure that the Russian occupier does not prevail over life in any way," he stated.

The President concluded his address with a powerful message of faith and determination, invoking the strength derived from unity and belief in a just cause. He expressed his unwavering belief in Ukraine's ability to reclaim peace and security, thanking everyone for their prayers, support, and efforts in spreading the truth about the war.

"Glory to Ukraine!" he proclaimed, ending his speech on a note of resilience and hope for the future.

This speech by President Zelensky serves as a poignant reminder of the power of unity and faith in the face of adversity. It calls on the international community to stand with Ukraine and support its fight for peace and justice.
