Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustam Omerov and Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Sirsky met a delegation of committee heads of the European Parliament in Kiev.
During the meeting, Omerov stressed the importance of the assistance provided by the European Parliament and the European Union (EU) to Ukraine in light of the war with Russia.
For his part, Chairman of the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, David McAllister, said that the joint meeting sends a message that the European Parliament continues to support Ukraine in light of the ongoing war.
McAllister added that members of the European Parliament will continue to support the Ukrainian army to repel Russian operations.
