At least 115 Ukrainian children have been killed, and 148 others have been injured, since the start of the Russian Military operation in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Prosecutor's Office said on Monday.

"As of this morning, March 21, the confirmed number of children killed as a result of the large-scale Russian invasion has reached 115, and the number of injured children has increased to 148," the office posted on Telegram.

It added that the repeated airstrikes and the bombing of civilian infrastructure and residential areas by the Russian armed forces damaged 530 educational institutions,  72 of which were completely destroyed, according to data reported by the Ukrainian news agency "Ukrinform."

The press service indicated that the data on losses are being clarified due to the complexity of the calculations, due to the high intensity of hostilities.
