The Finnish presidency announced that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Helsinki on Wednesday for a surprise visit, during which he will participate in a summit of leaders of the five Nordic countries.
The presidency said, in a statement, that Zelensky will attend the summit and hold talks with Finnish President Sauli Niinisto, whose country recently joined NATO, which will focus on the struggle that Ukraine is waging to defend itself.
Zelensky will also hold bilateral talks with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Christerson, Norwegian Jonas Gahr Storr, Danish Mette Frederiksen and Icelandic Catherine Jacobsdottir, according to the same source.
