Ukraine and the European Union have signed a significant loan agreement and a memorandum on phased financial support for Ukraine, totaling an accessible fund of €6 billion.
According to the news agency Ukrinform, the initial tranche of €4.5 billion is anticipated to bolster the Ukrainian state budget in March.
The Ukrainian agency further clarified that the remaining €1.5 billion is scheduled for disbursement in April 2024, following the European Commission's assessment of performance indicators.
This financial collaboration underscores the EU's continued support for Ukraine amidst ongoing economic and geopolitical challenges.
