According to the UK embassy official account on “Twitter”, UK Ambassador to Egypt, Gareth Bayley, visited the New Administrative Capital (NAC) on Monday.

During his visit, the British ambassador met Ahmed Abdeen, the Chairman of the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACDU) who gave him a detailed explanation of how plans are being implemented for a fully sustainable smart city.
The British diplomat also stated that clean transportation will run throughout the NAC, with UK-made carriages, ready to connect Cairo to the New Capital and help millions of workers and residents travel safely and sustainably.
