An unidentified flying object (UFO) exploded, Saturday, inside Baghdad International Airport, an Iraqi security source affirmed to Alsumaria News.
"The UFO that exploded this morning, between 'Alaa Air' Base and the fence of a School inside Baghdad International Airport, is a device that has not yet been identified whether it was just sound or an explosive device," the source said, affirming that the explosion did not cause any casualties.

Last October, two Katyusha rockets hit the vicinity of the airport, which were launched from the Al-Jihad neighborhood, west of the capital, landing near Baghdad airport.
The repeated rockets attacks have been a major challenge to the Iraqi security services for years, which often target the fortified Green Zone, that contains camps for the international coalition and US interests in Iraq.
