England national football team midfielder Jude Bellingham was fined 30,000 euros by UEFA and one-game suspension after his gestures towards the Slovakian bench during his celebration in the round of 16.
UEFA's Control, Ethics, and Disciplinary Body said in a statement: "Fining the player of the English Football Association, Jude Bellingham, 30,000 euros and suspending him for one UEFA competition match for which he would otherwise be eligible for violating the basic rules of decent conduct. This suspension is not immediately enforced and is subject to a probationary period of one year from the date of this decision."
After his goal in the 95th minute, which get England back to the tournament and managed them to get through the extra time, the Real Madrid player made derogatory gestures towards the Slovakian bench.
After the game, Bellingham explained on his social media that the celebration was "an inside joke gesture towards some close friends who were at the match."
