The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) announced on Thursday that Paris Saint-Germain has been fined €148,000 for crowd misconduct during the UEFA Champions League final held in May.

The sanction comes after PSG’s fans stormed the pitch at Allianz Arena in Munich, celebrating the club’s historic 5-0 victory over Inter Milan, which secured their first-ever Champions League title.

According to UEFA’s disciplinary and ethics committee, the charges against PSG included pitch invasion, use of pyrotechnics, throwing of objects, property damage, and displaying inappropriate banners. Match organizers reportedly struggled to control the situation as thousands of fans poured onto the field at the final whistle.

In addition to the fine, UEFA also imposed a one-match ban on PSG from selling tickets to away fans in European competitions, though this sanction has been suspended for two years. It will only be enforced if a similar offense occurs during that period.
