UEFA has revealed key details for the 2025-2026 UEFA Champions League Final, including the date, venue and opening ceremony plans.
The final will be played on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Puskás Aréna in Budapest. Kick off is scheduled for 18:00 Central European Time, which corresponds to 19:00 in Cairo and Mecca.
UEFA also confirmed that American rock band The Killers will headline the opening ceremony, which will take place shortly before the match and is sponsored by Pepsi.
The final is the highlight of European club football and will follow the conclusion of the knockout stages, where several top clubs have already reached the quarter finals.
These include Real Madrid, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Sporting CP, Barcelona, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid.
All quarter final matches are set to kick off at 21:00 Cairo time.
If the final ends level after 90 minutes, two periods of extra time will be played. Should the score remain tied, the winner will be decided by a penalty shootout.
