The governing body of football in Europe Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) announced, Tuesday, that will hold a moment of silence as a tribute to the victims of the Libya floods and the Morocco Earthquake.
The moment of silence events will take place until the end of the upcoming week, and it will be included in all national team and club events.
UEFA wrote on X (Twitter): "UEFA will hold a moment of silence at all upcoming national team and club competition matches until the end of next week, in memory of the victims of the flooding in Libya, as well as the victims of the earthquake in Morocco, as previously announced on 9 September.
The thoughts of European football are with the people of Libya and Morocco in these difficult times."
