UEA's Al Jazira announced the departure of Morcean football star Ashraf Bencharki, on Friday.
The club's official Twitter account said: "Thank You Bencharki for everything you did for Abu Dhabi's pride [Al Jazira club]. We wish you the best of luck."
Earlier, iconic sports TV host Ahmed Shoubir highlighted in his radio show that Al Jazira want to sell the star due to his huge salary.
He added that Bencharki didn't receive any official bid from any Egyptian clubs, including Pyramids whose Pacheco is still studying the player.
The Moroccan star left Al Zamalek, last year, after claiming victory with the Egypt Cup in the 2020/2021 season.
He was also instrumental in Zamalek’s victory with the Egyptian Premier League campaign, which was Al Zamalek's first league title since 2015.
During his run with the team, he scored 41 goals and 26 assists in 107 games. In addition, he held various titles with the Whites, including the 2020 CAF Super Cup, and 2019 and 2020 Egypt Cup titles, along with the 2020 EPL title.
