Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, said, "The shooting outside the Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., was an act of anti-Semitic terrorism." According to the Israeli embassy in Washington, the two embassy employees killed outside the city's Jewish Museum were "shot at close range."
For his part, Ted Deutch, CEO of the American Jewish Committee, confirmed that the committee had organized an event at the museum on Wednesday evening, adding, "We are shocked by this heinous act of violence that occurred outside the venue."
