Two Dead, 3 Injured in Somalia Explosion

Two people, including an official, were killed and 3 others were wounded in an explosion in Hiran in Somalia.

The Somali News Agency quoted sources as saying that the main reason behind the accident was an explosion at the police station in Hiran region.

The agency indicated that the explosion is believed to be a remote attack launched by Al-Shabab militias linked to Al-Qaeda.

The agency pointed out that investigations are underway to uncover the circumstances of the accident and to find out the cause of the explosion.
