The official trailer for Egyptian stars Yousra and Nelly Karim's comedy TV series “Rose and Layla” has been released.
The cast also includes Karim's husband Hisham Ashour, Tayam Amar, Arifa Abdel Rasoul, Ahmed Wafik, Marwan Younis, and more.
“Rose and Layla” consists of 10 episodes and marks Karim and Ashour's first acting project.
The series is written by British author and screenwriter Chris Cole and directed by British filmmaker Adrian Shergold.
It is a blend of genres that range from black comedy to action, suspense, and adventure.
“Rose and Layla” is centered around two female investigators who were hired to stop a major bank fraud from happening.
The series marks the second collaboration between Yousra and Karim after the 2014 TV series “Saraya Abdeen”.
“Rose and Layla” is set to debut on the "Shahid VIP" streaming platform on Thursday, January 11.
