The first look at Egyptian stars Yousra and Nelly Karim's comedy TV series “Rose and Layla” has been unveiled.
The cast also includes Karim's husband Hisham Ashour, Tayam Amar, Arifa Abdel Rasoul, Ahmed Wafik, Marwan Younis, and more.
The series consists of 10 episodes and witnesses Karim and Ashour's first acting project.
“Rose and Layla” is written by British author and screenwriter Chris Cole and directed by British filmmaker Adrian Shergold.
The series is a blend of genres that range from black comedy to action, suspense, and adventure. It is centered around two female investigators who are hired to stop a major bank fraud from happening.
The series marks the second collaboration between Yousra and Karim after the 2014 TV series “Saraya Abdeen”.
“Rose and Layla” is set to debut soon on the "Shahid VIP" streaming platform.
