TV Series "Omla Nadra" Character Posters Unveiled

A series of character posters from Egyptian actress Nelly Karim's TV series "Omla Nadra" (Rare Currency) has been unveiled.

It also stars Jamal Suleiman, Kamal Abu Raya, Ahmed Eid, Farida Saif Al-Nasr, Nada Moussa, Mohamed Lotfy, Jumana Murad, Mariam El Khosht, Mohamed Fahim, Ramzy Al-Adl, and Hisham Ashour.

Mohamed El Adl, known as Mando, is directing the series from a script by Medhat El Adl.

"Omla Nadra" is set to screen in Ramadan 2023 drama marathon on "CBC" TV channel. Check out the rest of the character posters below.

Moreover, Abu Raya is set to appear in season 7 of Egyptian actor Ahmed Mekky's comedy hit TV series “Al-Kabir Awy”, which is set to debut in the Ramadan 2023 drama marathon.

The series sees the acclaimed actor playing the husband of Al-Kabira faht.

Season 7 will feature the return of previous cast members such as Mekky, Bayoumi Fouad, Hisham Ismail, Mohamed Salam, Rahma Ahmed Farag, Moustafa Gharieb, Laila Ezz El-Arab, Hatem Salah, and  Hussain Abo Hagag.

The series is scripted by Mustafa Saqr and Mohamed Ezzeldin, directed by Ahmed El-Gendy, and produced by the Synergy production company.

“Al-Kabir Awy” made its debut in 2010. It revolved around the Mayor of the Mazarita village, in upper Egypt, who discovers that he has other siblings.

The series achieved great success and became one of the best comedy series that screened annually during Ramadan. It was renewed in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2022.
