Egyptian stars Asmaa Galal and Hesham Maged's TV series "Ashghal Shaqa" was one of the most viewed shows screened during the first half of the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.
Season 2 of the series is currently in the early stages of development, which sees Mohamed Mahmoud reprising his role as Dr. Ghandour, who specializes in more than one medical field, depending on the day of the week: one day he is a pediatrician, another he is a cardiologist, and the next he is a neurologist, and so forth.
The show's creative team has held talks to examine what other medical specialties Dr. Ghandour could be.
Season 1 of "Ashghal Shaqa" also stars Sherine, Salwa Mohammad Ali, Mohamed Mahmoud, Rahma Ahmed Farag, Moustafa Gharieb, and more.
Khaled Diab directed the series from a script he co-wrote with Sherine Diab.
The plot revolves around a forensic doctor who marries a broadcaster, however, he is not good at dealing with women, which puts him in many ordeals, especially with his wife’s friends.
