Iconic TV director Yousry Ghouraba passed away on Thursday after suffering from COVID-19 complications.
He is considered one of the TV directing pioneers, and he influenced several rising directors.
The TV icon participated in various popular shows such as "Lekaa' El Gamaher" with the legendary Amaal Fahmi, "Camera 9" with Amany Nashid, and other famous shows such as "Oscar," "Nogoum Wi Arkam," "Tahqiq," and "Mawakef Wi Taraaef."
Ghouraba was the first director to cover international film and theater acts such as Cairo International Film Festival, Alexandria International Film Festival for Mediterranean Countries, and Cairo International Festival for Contemporary and Experimental Theater.
