Restorers of the Supreme Council of Antiquities have finished dismantling the walls of Tutu tomb, located near Akhmim city in Sohag governorate; it will be moved to the museum of the New Administrative Capital.

"The tomb's relocation has been approved by the permanent committee of the Egyptian antiquities," the council said in a statement on Saturday.

It will be part of the museum's display during the inauguration of the new museum within a few months, to show the greatness of Egypt's artifacts and ancient cities.

It is worth noting that the tomb and its entrance were discovered in 2018 when authorities arrested smugglers digging illegally for artifacts.
