A delegation of Turkish youth led by Turkish Ambassador to Cairo, Mustafa Çakmakçı, paid a visit to Cairo and Alexandria this week, in a symbolic and heartfelt show of solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza, amid ongoing humanitarian challenges in the region.
The visit, described as both a humanitarian gesture and a cultural bridge-building effort, was marked by deep expressions of empathy and unity with Gaza’s oppressed and victimized communities. The delegation emphasized their commitment not only to Turkey’s national causes but also to broader humanitarian values, highlighting the vital role of youth in promoting international solidarity.
During their time in Alexandria, the delegation presented a handmade ship model as a gift, a gesture that was met with appreciation and interpreted as a symbol of peace and connection across nations.
The Turkish delegation’s trip received warm welcomes from local Egyptian communities and was widely seen as a message of unity between the peoples of Turkey, Egypt, and Palestine.
