Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived Monday in Jeddah in an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as part of a Gulf tour that includes the UAE and Qatar, and will continue until Wednesday.
Erdogan had said in statements before leaving the country that the diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Turkey are based on solid foundations, adding: "During our visit, investment and the economy will be at the top of our agenda, and the visit to the Gulf countries will be an opportunity to discuss how to support Islamic countries."
