On Tuesday, Turkish Parliament approved Sweden's NATO bid.
The voting at the parliament came in the favour of Sweden as 287 member voted for the Sweden's bid, while 55 members voted against.
Finland became the 31st member of NATO last April, however, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan objected to the membership of Sweden, justifying that Sweden supports some groups that would threaten the security of Turkey.
After that Erdogan made some new demands, including a request for Washington to provide Turkey with a new batch of F-16 fighter jets which was approved by the US.
Last December, the Turkish Parliament committee approved Sweden's bid to join NATO.
