The Embassy of Turkey in Cairo has continued its humanitarian assistance activities for Palestinians, reaffirming Turkey’s ongoing support for Gaza through a series of relief and solidarity initiatives.
As part of its sustained efforts, the embassy recently organized a new humanitarian event in cooperation with the Ferinel Association, during which food and cash assistance were distributed to 100 Palestinian families. The event also included 100 Palestinian children, who took part in recreational and educational activities designed to provide psychological relief and a sense of normalcy.
The event featured dedicated play areas for children, along with activities such as face painting and games, allowing young participants to enjoy a safe and welcoming environment. It was held at the residence of the Turkish Ambassador in Cairo and attended by around 100 journalists and social media influencers from Egypt and Palestine. In addition, 15 representatives from the Ferinel Association traveled from Turkey to participate in the event.
Speaking during the gathering, Salih Mutlu Şen highlighted that the Turkish Embassy had begun 2026 by hosting a solidarity and relief event for 200 Palestinian families on the first days of the new year. He expressed pride in continuing these efforts through additional initiatives, including the latest event supporting another 100 families.
The ambassador emphasized that Turkey’s humanitarian engagement with Palestinians remains uninterrupted, reflecting a firm commitment to standing by Palestinian families, especially women and children, amid ongoing humanitarian challenges.
