Afghanistan's Tolo News TV channel reported on Sunday, citing representatives of Turkish Airlines, that flights between Istanbul and Kabul will resume starting from May 21.

According to the television channel, Turkish Airlines operated its last flight from Kabul airport on August 14, 2021.

Following the political changes in Afghanistan, the company suspended its flights to the country.
