On Friday, Tunisian Tennis icon Ons Jabeur defeated the Chinese Zhuoxuan Bai 6-1-6-1 to qualify for the third round.
In the next round, Jabeur will face Bianca Andreescu.
The game wasn't that tough for Jabeur whose tricky breezes, and outstanding performance led her to take over the game.
Last year, the Tunisian Tennis star advanced to the final of both Wimbledon and US Open.
She defeated Tatjana Maria in the last Wimbledon 2022 semi-finals, becoming the first African woman to reach a Grand Slam singles final.
Jabeur celebrated her victory on Twitter and sent a special message to Maria; "You were amazing. An inspiration for all women athletes out there!"
"I'm a proud Tunisian woman standing here," said Jabeur. "It's a dream come true from years of work and sacrifice. I'm happy that's paid off and I'll continue for one more match."
"I know in Tunisia they are going crazy right now. I want to see more Arab and African players on the tour. I love the game and I want to share the experience with them."
