A few moments ago, the Tunisian government announced new cabinet reshuffle according to Sky News Arabia. The reshuffle included the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Justice. Moreover, the total number of the included ministerial portfolios are 11.

The main reasons for this shuffle is executing the government's upcoming plan after finishing a comprehensive evaluation process

Last week, the Prime Minister (PM) Hisham Al-Mechishi sacked Minister of Interior Tawfiq Sharaf Al-Din. However, informed sources from the Tunisian presidency reported that Tunisia’s President Kais Saied rejected the decision to fire Sharaf al-Din.

The decision made by the Tunisian Premier makes the political conflict in the country take an upward turn between the two heads of the executive authority in the coming days (the presidency and the premiership).

Tunisian government sources revealed that the background of the exemption is disagreements between Al-Mechishi and his interior minister, over the death of a person the day before yesterday by the Tunisian security forces in the province of Monastir (the coast of the country).
